What are trades in polytechnic?

Many students do not know the term called trades, so I going to tell you about this term.

The trades are basically called branches. There are like the branches of engineering. In engineering there are many types such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc. and these types are called the branches or trades l.

There are many trades or branches :-

• Civil Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Electronic Engineering
• Computer Engineering
• Printing Engineering, etc.

When you take admission you have to choose some trades in which you want to take admission, but you will be given admission according to your rank scored in the entrance test and availability of the seats. 

Choosing of the trades is up to you but you would get admission according to your performance. 

The trade which you choose decide that you are interested in study of that trade. You will study about that particular trade in which you have taken admission. This also includes the study of other trades related to your trades as introduction.

Trades are the particular and a specific field in which you will study of any particular thing related to a particular and specific engineering purpose.
